What We Collect and Why

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, an optional display name, and a Firebase user ID that identifies your account in our systems. We use this to sign you in, keep your training data tied to your account, and respond to support requests. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may share a private relay email address instead of your real one — that works fine with TriSync.

Training preferences and session logs

TriSync stores the information you provide to build and run your training plan: your goal race and date, available weekly training hours, equipment, and your completed session logs (discipline, scheduled duration, completion status, and when you logged them). We use this data solely to generate and adapt your training plan and show your training history.

Subscription status

We use RevenueCat and Apple to manage subscriptions. When you subscribe, we receive your subscription status (for example, active, expired, or in a trial) and anonymized transaction identifiers. We do not receive or store your payment card details — Apple handles all payment processing.

Apple Health data (optional)

If you choose to connect Apple Health, TriSync may send scheduled workout templates to Apple Watch and may request permission to read completed workouts. Health data is used only to support your training in the app. You control each permission individually and can revoke access at any time in the iOS Health app.

Strava activity data (optional)

If you choose to connect Strava, TriSync uses Strava's OAuth authorization so you can sync activities (such as swims, rides, and runs) when you tap Sync from Strava in Settings. We never see your Strava password. Synced activity data is used only to match sessions in your plan. You can disconnect Strava at any time in TriSync's settings or from your Strava account.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use your health or fitness data for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• This website does not use analytics, tracking cookies, or ad trackers.

How Your Data Is Stored

Your account and training data are stored using Google Firebase (including Firebase Authentication and its database services). Data is encrypted in transit, and Firebase encrypts stored data at rest. Access to production data is limited to what is needed to operate the app and provide support.

Deleting Your Account and Data

To request deletion of your TriSync account and associated data (including training preferences and session logs), email erictheguan@gmail.com from the email address on your account. We will confirm and process your request within a reasonable time.

Deleting your TriSync account does not delete data held by third parties on their own platforms (such as your Strava activities or Apple Health records), and it does not cancel an App Store subscription — manage that at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

TriSync relies on the following services to operate. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:

Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
